Action Procedure

As the Free Peoples player, you get the first opportunity to perform an action, followed by the Shadow player on your right, and so on counter-clockwise around the table. This order of events may be interrupted by a player playing a response action.

If a player does not wish to perform an action, he may simply pass. Passing does not prevent a player from performing an action after another player has passed during the same phase, however, when all players consecutively pass, you proceed immediately to the next phase, without another opportunity to take another action. In a multiplayer game, during the Shadow phase, Shadow players may not play any more minions, possessions, artifacts, or conditions once another Shadow player has started their Shadow phase, though they may use Shadow special abilities or events.
