Discard

The default meaning of the word "discard" is "discard from play." Discarding from other locations (such as from your hand or from the top of your draw deck) is always specified. Discarded cards go to their owner's discard pile. For example, if The Balrog, Durin's Bane, is played, any other minions already in play are discarded, and go to their owner's discard pile
