Filters and Searching

Inside the Deck Builder, Collection Manager, and Trade windows you can filter and search the card pool. The Filters and Search area gives you a powerful set of tools by which to limit the current card pool to cards that match virtually any criteria in The Lord of the Rings Online TCG.

Culture Filter Buttons
Culture Filter Buttons allow you to limit the cards in the current card pool to particular cultures, or to cards containing references to particular culture names or icons. In addition to the 13 cultures, there is also a ring icon for cards of no Culture, such as sites and The One Ring.

All Culture Filter Buttons default to the "on" state. Left-clicking a Culture Filter Button will turn that button on or off. Right-clicking a Culture Filter Button will turn off all other Culture Filter Buttons except for the selected Button. Ctrl-left-clicking a Culture Filter Button will add cards to the current card pool that contain a reference to the culture name or culture icon represented by the button.

Other Filter Drop-down Menus and Buttons
The remaining Drop-Down Filters and Buttons allow you to limit the cards in the current card pool to particular strings or values contained in various card attributes.

A Drop-Down Filter is inactive until one of its values has been left- or right-clicked. When any Button within it has been selected, it is turned on as a filter and the Filter as a whole is activated. Left-clicking a Button turns it on or off; right-clicking a Button turns it on and all other Buttons in that Drop-Down Filter off.

When a Drop-Down or Filter is activated, its Active Filter Check Box is checked. You can deactivate or reactivate a Drop-Down Filter by clicking its Active Filter Check Box. When all selections within a Drop-Down Filter have been turned off, the Filter is again inactive and the Active Filter Check Box is unchecked.

Numeric Attribute Filters
The Numeric Attribute Filters allow you to filter by card or collection attributes that contain numeric values. You can select an attribute and a logical operator from their respective drop down menus, and enter a numeric value to filter by. These filters are enabled and disabled by left-clicking their check boxes. The logical operators and their meanings are:

•  < : Less Than
• <= : Less Than or Equal To
•  = : Equal To
• >= : Greater Than or Equal To
•  > : Greater Than
• != : Not Equal To

Search
Entering a string into the search input window, and either hitting Enter or clicking the "Search" button, will filter the card pool based on the search string and the currently selected language (See Preferences for language selection options). You can limit the search string to particular attribute fields on your cards by clicking or right-clicking any of the elements in the "Search By" drop-down menu.

Reset
The reset button will clear all filters and searches currently applied to your card pool and reset the pool to its default settings, including any currently selected Sort patterns.

Save and Load Filter
You can save and re-load the current filter settings with the "Save Filt" and "Load Filt" buttons at the top of the Filters and Search area.
