The Limited Deck Builder

The Limited Deck Builder is where you can assemble and save decks for use in Draft and Sealed tournaments.

Identical in many ways to the normal Deck Builder, you may construct your deck only from the cards available to you in the tournaments (in Sealed play, that usually means the cards from your Starter and Booster; in Draft play, that means the cards in your foundation deck and Draft Pack as well as any cards you selected in the drafting phase). The rest of your collection is inaccessible for the duration of the tournament. Also, take note that you cannot use the Open/Add, Save As, Open Collection or Delete functions in the Limited Deck Builder.

During the Initial Deck Building phase in a tournament using the Limited Deck Builder, you only have a limited time to construct your deck. You will see the remaining time at the top of the screen. Remember to save your deck! Before the First round begins, press either "Save" or the "Ready" button (next to the timer) to save your deck! If there is an error with your deck, the program will NOT save your deck and will open the Deck Validator informing you of the error.

Between Rounds you may return to the Limited Deck Builder by clicking on the Deck Builder tab on the right hand side of the screen. In Sealed and Draft tournaments you may change your Deck between rounds (though remember, you won't have access to your full collection until the tournament is over).
