Main Lobby
The Main Lobby is the first screen that you see after logging in. From it, you can access any of the Matchmaking Lobbies listed below, and other areas of the game. Each lobby is represented by a medallion labeled with the name of that lobby. To access that area of the game, simply click on that medallion, and the relevant screen will appear.
There are also a number of tabs down the right-hand side of the screen. These tabs appear on every screen, and allow you to access areas of the game that may be useful at several different points.
All lobbies have a number of features in common.
The various lobbies and other areas of the game are:
- The Tutorials and Beginner Games Lobby
This area is designed for players new to the game. It contains a Basic Tutorial that introduces the core concepts of the game, and an Advanced Tutorial allowing players to play a limited deck against the computer, introducing several more advanced concepts. Casual games may also be played here, and it can be a good place to find players new to the game.
- Casual Games
The Casual Games lobby is where most players gather for casual games of all formats. It is usually the most populated of all the lobbies.
- Trade Lobby
The Trade Lobby is designed to give people a place to discuss and arrange trades with other players.
- Premier Events
Premier events are usually the largest and highest-profile events in the game. Drawing the best players, and offering the best prizes, there are several Premier Events each year. Success in Premier Series events is one of the ways to get to the World Championships. Further information about the Premier Series can be found at the DGMA web site. Premier events are not yet available online.
- Sanctioned Tournaments
Sanctioned tournaments are those that count towards your online rating. Managed by the game itself, they are available in a number of formats.
- Rated Games
- Support
- Welcome Room
- Leader Boards
- League Play
- Guild Hall
