Move
Starting at site 1, each Free Peoples player moves his fellowship from site to site down the adventure path toward site 9. The first to reach site 9 and have his Ring-bearer survive through all skirmishes, wins the game. At the end of each fellowship phase, the Free Peoples player must move his fellowship to the next site on the adventure path. He may also choose to move his fellowship again at the end of each regroup phase, as many times as the move limit of the current turn allows. Each time the fellowship moves, a number of twilight tokens are added to the twilight pool equal to the Shadow number of the site they are moving to. Additionally, one twilight token is added to the pool for each companion in the fellowship. If it hasn't already been played, a new site is added to the adventure path by the Shadow player immediately to the Free Peoples player's right or left, depending on the direction pointed to by the arrow on the current site.
