Restricted List

The Restricted List is a list of cards that may be used in a limited fashion in Open and Block format games (see Play Formats). You may only use 1 copy of a Restricted List card in a deck built for Block or Open play. The Mount Doom cards Memories of Darkness and Mordor Fiend are Restricted List cards, so a King Block deck could only use 1 copy of each card -- two copies of either card would make the deck invalid.

Cards may be added or removed to the Restricted List over time. If and when these changes are made, they are announced on the first Tuesday of the month. Be sure to periodically look at the Restricted and keep up with any changes that might occur.

It's worth noting that if a card shows up on the Restricted List, you will also find it on the X-list as well -- but not all cards on the X-list show up on the Restricted List.
