Site Path

Below the Magnify Window you will see the site path. You can open the Site Magnify window by right clicking a site and selecting "Open Site Magnify Window."

Moving along the site path represents the journey of the Free Peoples, whether it be the personal journey of Frodo to Mount Doom, or the larger scale journey of the kingdoms of Rohan and Gondor towards freedom from the minions of Sauron. As such, the site path serves as both the playing field and the measure of how much progress you've made.

Each player is represented on the site path by a different colored or shaped token, with their player number super-imposed on it. A player's number is the same as their seat number, determined by the order in which they take their turn. Each player's number appears beside their name in the Player Info Box below the site path.

Each site is played when the first character to reach that site number moves to it. The site is played from the Adventure Deck of the player nearest the player who is moving, in the direction indicated by the arrow beneath the image on the previous site. For example, for the first player moving from site 3 to site 4, if the arrow on the site 3 card pointed to the left, the site would be played by the player immediately to the moving player's left.
