Unique

Characters may be unique, or non-unique. Unique characters are denoted by a black dot (•) in front of their Card Title. You may have no more than one of any unique card in play or in the dead pile at any time. Note that unique minions go to the discard pile when they are killed, and so may subsequently be played again. An exception to this limit is unique Shadow conditions. More than one unique Shadow condition may be in play at the same time, provided they are in the support area of different Shadow players, though only the condition in the support area of the first player to the right of the Free Peoples player is considered active. If a unique companion or ally has a wound, you may discard another copy of that companion or ally from your hand during your fellowship phase to heal that companion or ally.
